Aleesha young has firmly established herself in the professional bodybuilding industry as one of the top women. Aleesha Young was born 1984 to a sporting family. Although her father worked as a bodybuilder her siblings also played sports such as playing ice hockey. Aleesha was also a participant in various sports such as basketball, soccer as well as softball prior to getting interested in bodybuilding when she was 15 or so. Aleesha was granted her professional card following her win at the NPC USA Championships in 2014. Her first competition began in the year 2008 but started competing since 2008. The 2014 IFBB Wings of Strength PBW Tampa Pro took place and she finished 9th. In 2015, she maintained her ninth place result. Aleesha was 6th place in both 2016 and 2015 during her participation in the IFBB Wings Of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships. Aleesha is steadily improving and in 2019 she took home her first pro award, in the Chicago Pro Championships. The best WOS performance was in 2020. She finished fourth. But, the "World's most powerful mom" was forced to stop bodybuilding for health-related reasons.
